PARC to introduce about 200 national brands of different food products

PARC Director General Dr Azeem Khan said the initiative was also aiming at to reduce poverty.
(Web Desk) – The Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) has decided to introduce about 200 national brands of different food products in order to promote value addition of agriculture products.
In an interview, PARC Director General Dr Azeem Khan said the initiative was also aiming at to reduce poverty in the rural areas of the country by enhancing farm income with value addition of agriculture products.
He said the fish and yogurt processing plant has been established in the PARC which providing training for entrepreneurs to establish business and install plants.
