Schools in Karachi will reopen from Wednesday (January 1) after winter vacations
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Secretary Education announced that schools in Karachi will reopen from Wednesday (January 1) after winter vacations and rejected rumors of extension in vacations.
On December 19, Sindh Education Department announced that government and private schools will remain close for 10 days for winter vacations.
On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government extended winter vacations till January 7 to keep the children safe from the harsh weather.
Federal Government Educational Institutions (FGEI) Cantt and Garrison have also extended winter vacations and announced that FGEI cantt garrison schools across the country would remain closed until January 5, 2020 due to winter vacations and schools will reopen on January 6, 2020.
