In fight against crime 25 police officers lost their lives
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh police annual performance report for current year has been submitted on Monday to Inspector General (IG) Sindh.
According to submitted report, police arrested 49,384 suspects, 1114 police encounters were carried out and 504 criminal gangs were eliminated.
Report mentioned that 39 robbers, eight terrorists and one kidnapper were killed. Arrested suspects include 21 target killers, 10 kidnappers, 13557 robbers and 1534 suspects were caught red handed.
Police recovered more than 219kgs of explosives and 665 fuses, detonator sand other instruments. However despite all the efforts police was unable to arrest 20967 suspects.
