Abu Dhabi crown prince, COAS Bajwa discuss regional security matters

COAS Bajwa, Crown Prince discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan met with Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed matters of mutual interests.

According to the UAE embassy in Pakistan’s official Twitter account, the Army Chief Bajwa was received by the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The two sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments as well as a number of issues of mutual concern.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and Pakistan s Army Chief of Staff emphasized their keenness on continuing enhancing cooperation and joint work for the benefit of the two friendly countries and support regional and international peace and security efforts.

In a tweet, the DG ISPR said that regional security and matters of mutual interest were also discussed in the meeting. “COAS arrived Abu Dhabi, UAE. Called on His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Regional security environment and matters of mutual interests discussed,” read tweet.
