Rs10.56 billion released for ADB-funded projects in KP

Funds for major projects have been approved, under the new release policy.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has released Rs10.56 billion for projects funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
For various projects in Peshawar, the KP government has released Rs3.70 billion. The projects include the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Billion Tree Tsunami, construction of a zoo and schools.
Furthermore, Rs1.38 billion for ‘Clean Green Pakistan’ and Rs440 million for establishment of offices of rescue services have been given.
Funds for major projects have been approved, under the new release policy. Other projects include Land Record Computerisation, Tax Offices and Peshawar Uplift.
