People forced to buy expensive gas due to former dummy PM: Firdous Ashiq Awan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said people are forced to buy expensive gas owing to a former dummy premier.
The SAPM took to Twitter on Thursday and said the past of those who accuse they are being politically victimized is not clean. Each penny will be recovered from those who caused loss to the national exchequer, she affirmed.
Firdous Ashiq Awan stated that staggering irregularities are being unearthed in the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) import contract with Qatar which was signed during the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) tenure.
Dr. Firdous said the audit report of 2016-17 negates former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s claims. The responsible persons will be held accountable of irregularities worth Rs108 billion and additional recoveries of Rs4.5 billion from the consumers, she stressed.
