Process of accountability to continue without any discrimination: PM Imran

The PM said development and prosperity of Sindh is among the top priorities of government.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that the process of accountability throughout the country will continue without any discrimination as all are equal before the law.
He said this while talking to a delegation of allied parties from Sindh led by Governor Imran Ismail in Islamabad on Friday.
The prime minister said that the development and prosperity of Sindh is among the top priorities of the government and we are taking all possible steps in this regard.
During the meeting, PM Imran Khan was briefed about the progress of welfare and development projects in Sindh. Imran Khan assured the participants and said corruption will not be tolerated as the country has been kept deprived of development.
The participants requested PM Imran Khan to make possible use of royalty payments of gas in the province.
The participants agreed to appoint focal persons in the federal ministries to resolve Sindh related issues. The Prime Minister said the main agenda of the PTI government is to make corruption free Pakistan.
The delegation comprised members from Mutahida Qaumi Movement and Grand Democratic Alliance.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan while presiding over a meeting on reforms in Ministry of Information and Broadcasting underscored the key role of media as being fourth pillar of state and in building public opinion on government measures.
He said public welfare projects initiated by the government, socio-economic development and role of Press Information Department in highlighting the positive image of the country and future course of action.
The prime minister affirmed his government s strong belief in media freedom.
Imran Khan directed the Ministry of Information to take effective steps in highlighting government s public welfare projects, economic development and emerging position of Pakistan in the comity of nations in foreign affairs.
While emphasizing the use of modern technology in Information Ministry, he called for the training of officers concerned to effectively use social media and other modern skills to counter the national and international propaganda with facts and logic.
The premier assured the Special Assistant on Information of all out steps and cooperation in protecting the rights of media workers.
