President takes notice of Dunya News programme, orders help for cancer patient

Officials from Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad contacted the family of the cancer patient in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A cancer-stricken patient in Karachi got a new lease of life when President Dr Arif Alvi took notice of Dunya News programme Sawal Awam Ka and ordered treatment and financial support for the wife of a labourer, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
Officials from Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad contacted the family of the cancer patient in Karachi. Khizar Ali, the personal secretary of the president, said that financial help will also be provided to the family.
Labourer Muhammad Anwar thanked the President for the treatment of his wife as well as financial support. He also thanked Dunya News for highlighting the case.
