Chaudhry Sugar Mills case: AC issues 'robkar' for Nawaz Sharif's release.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – An Accountability Court (AC) in Lahore has on Saturday issued ‘robkar’ [mandamus] for incarcerated former premier Nawaz Sharif’s release in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
AC Judge Chaudhry Ameer Muhammad Khan issued the robkar as two surety bonds worth Rs 10 million apiece were submitted in the court. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Saiful Malook Khokhar received the orders.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) had on Friday (yesterday) approved PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s bail petition on medical grounds.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had moved the LHC for elder brother’s bail in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. A two-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi conducted the hearing.
