President Alvi calls for introduction of e-textbooks

Dr Alvi highlighted the importance of distance learning, saying it can save time and expenditure.

(Web Desk) – President Dr Arif Alvi in Lahore on Wednesday called for the introduction of e-textbooks across the country to facilitate youths in learning.

The president addressed the annual conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities, and stated that technological revolution has shifted the entire world.

“Modern communication tools should be used to impart knowledge […] today people have access to their favorite books on the internet.”
