SSP Sukkur formed committee to probe suspended inspector for violation of discipline.
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sukkur on Tuesday suspended a police officer for kissing the hand of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah when he was produced before an accountability court.
A committee has also been constituted with Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) in chair to probe suspended inspector for violation of discipline.
Earlier, on duty Sub-Inspector kissed Shah’s hand as a gesture of reverence. The incident took place when Shah left his car and Shahnawaz accompanied him with protocol to the court entry.
The whole scene was captured on camera and later drew ire of the public on social media where they called this act done by an official insult to the uniform.
Later, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sukkur took notice of the incident and suspended the police officer.
