Jada Pinkett Smith calls Abida Parveen her 'spiritual mother'

LAHORE (Dunya News) – American actress Jada Pinkett Smith has expressed her uncontrolled affection for the Pakistani legendary singer, Abida Parveen, by declaring Parveen her spiritual mother.
Jada took to Instgram and posted InstaStory of a mesmerizing performing by her “spiritual mother” at the Development and Literacy (DIL) gala in San Francisco, USA.
“My night with my spiritual mother Abida Parveen the one I won’t forget,” she caption the video. Adding that Smith saw her path ahead.
Abida Parveen, without any uncertainty, has global recognition and soothing ears beyond the borders.
Earlier, Jada had declared that Parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan are two of her favorite vocalists of Sufi music. She shared the Coke Studio video of both artists performing "Chaap Tilak". She even urged her fans to read the lyrics of it which was orignally written by Amir Khusro.
