ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday congratulated People s Republic of China on its 70th Anniversary.

The prime minister took to the microblogging website twitter to extend his nation s greetings to his true and steadfast friend China. 

Today on the 70th Anniversary of the People s Republic of China I want to extend our nation s greetings to our true & steadfast friend China. I have always admired China s development & fight against corruption.

PM Imran to tour China next week

Prime Minister Imran Khan will go on a three-day visit to China next week where he will meet with top Chinese leadership including Chinese President Xi Jinping.

According to Dunya News sources, PM Imran, during his visit, will thank the Chinese leadership for their support on Kashmir issue. PM Imran will also attend the forthcoming meeting of China-Pakistan Business Forum being held in Beijing on October 8.

China-Pakistan Business Forum is being jointly organised by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Pakistan Embassy in Beijing. The forum aims to promote economic and trade exchanges and practical cooperation between the two sides.

According to sources, several memorandum of understanding (MoU) will also be signed in PM Imran Khan’s visit to China.

This will be PM Imran’s third visit to China after coming into charge last year. PM Imran paid his first official visit to China in November last year and attended the first China International Import Expo in Shanghai. In April 2019, the premier once again visited China and participated in the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing.
