The news going viral about the frog meat getting served in Lahore's restaurants is absolutely fake.

The news which is going viral on social media also claimed that the dead frogs were being used in burgers and shawarmas whereas the story is totally fake.

The police, infact, arrested two men who were carrying dead frogs inside eight sacks while travelling on the roads of Lahore in a rickshaw. The sacks contained 185kg of toads in which some of which were even alive. Police stopped them for taking frogs as a rare species.
