Congo virus claims one more life in Quetta

24-year Asad Ullah died during treatment at Quetta’s Fatima Jinnah Hospital.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – One more patient lost his life to the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic fever, commonly referred to as Congo fever, in Quetta’s Fatima Jinnah Hospital on Friday, Dunya News reported.

According to details, 24-year Asad Ullah was brought to Fatima Jinnah Hospital after his condition deteriorated where he died during treatment. Earlier, he was under treatment at a private hospital in Quetta.

Congo fever is a tick-borne viral disease which is mainly transferred to humans from pets. Its symptoms include fever, flu, bloody urine, vomiting and nose bleeding.
