LAHORE (Dunya News) – Spokes person of Chief Minister Punjab Dr Shehbaz Gill on Sunday said police reforms would be introduced in Punjab and summary in this regard has been sent to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Talking in Dunya News program  Ikhtalafi Note , he said police were used for political purposes in the past. Postings and recruitments were solely based on political appeasements.

He said we are trying to make things better in Punjab police. He said a change would be visible in next six months.

Gill said name of lawyer who slapped lady constable was written rightly in FIR and he was absolved due to some other reasons. He said such people take benefit of deficiencies in the law.

He said bar association supported lawyer despite his wrong act which is not right. Gill said the lady constable in her recent statement has said that she is not going to resign.
