Notification regarding six holidays in Muharram is fake

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Government of Pakistan today (September 6) clarified and termed the notification about six-day holidays from September 6 to September 11 in the Holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram as fake.
Federal government on Twitter said that the notification, circulating in media, is fake and no such instructions have been issued by the Government of Pakistan regarding neither holidays nor security threats in Muharram.

— Govt of Pakistan (@pid_gov) September 6, 2019It went on to share the official notification by the Ministry of Interior which stated about closing the private and publics offices by 3 pm to express solidarity with Kashmiris on Defence Day and commemorate the sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers in defending its borders.

— Govt of Pakistan (@pid_gov) September 6, 2019According to the notification by Interior Ministery, offices across the country will close at 3 pm to attend Defence Day congregation and observe Kashmir Day to show solidarity with the occupied Kashmir where Indian troops are exercising brutalities after India revoked the autonomy of the valley.
Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that every martyr will be remembered on the upcoming Defence Day.
In a Twitter post, the DG ISPR said, “Defence and Martyrs Day 6 Sep 2019. Like last year, let’s reach out to families of our shaheeds. Every shaheed be remembered.”
He further released the slogans of the Defence Day, “Ayein Chalain Shaheed Kay Ghar” and “Kashmir Banega Pakistan”.
