DG ISPR, politicians and cricketers attend Imad Wasim's walima.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya New) – The walima ceremony of Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim was on Monday (yesterday) held in Islamabad.
The event was attended by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, former finance minister Asad Umar, Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeem ul Haque, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Capital Development Authority (CDA) Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Babar Awan, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Managing Director Wasim Khan and leg-spinner Yasir Shah among others.
The bride and groom wore traditional wedding dresses [lehnga and sherwani] at their walima.

— Imad Wasim (@simadwasim) August 26, 2019Earlier on Saturday, Imad Wasim performed nikkah in a simple ceremony attended by family members at the Faisal Mosque with Saniya Ashfaq – a British girl of Pakistan-origin.
Imad Wasim was wearing white kurta and waistcoat at the event [nikkah]. Imad Wasim’s father – Syed Wasim Haider – talked to Dunya News and revealed that the all-rounder has married the girl of his parents’ choice. The couple had met in London for the first time.
