Three injured in IED blast outside Pakistan's Consulate in Jalalabad

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Spokesperson Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan Dr Mohammad Faisal said on Sunday that an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded outside holding area of Pakistan s Consulate General in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

Dr Mohammad Faisal in a tweet said all Pakistani staff are safe and one policeman and two applicants are reportedly wounded.

He further said we are in contact with Afghan authorities to ensure strengthened security for Consulate General’s premises and personnel.
