Met Office forecasts rain in Lahore, other parts of country

According to Met Office monsoon currents are penetrating lower and central parts of the country.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department on Monday predicted more rain in Lahore and several cities of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir during the next 24 hours, Dunya News reported.
According to Met Office, seasonal low lies over northwest Balochistan and monsoon currents from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are penetrating lower and central parts of the country. A westerly wave is also present over upper parts of the country.
The Met Office has predicted rain/wind-thunderstorm at scattered places in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir, while at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, D.I.Khan, Bannu divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
On the other hand, hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
