Federal cabinet’s August 6 meeting adjourned due to situation in occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Cabinet meeting under the chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan has been adjourned till August 7 due to joint session of the parliament on Tuesday.
President Dr Arif Alvi has summoned a joint session of the Parliament over occupied Kashmir issue on Tuesday (tomorrow) at 11:00 AM.
Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat will be present in the session. The joint session of the Parliament will analyze the situation following Indian government’s decision to end occupied Kashmir’s special status by abrogating Article 35A and Article 370, and Indian atrocities in the occupied valley.
The cabinet in its next meeting would review the progress of communication ministry from August 2018 to June 2019. The cabinet would approve modernization of Flight Inspection Unit and lawmaking for Federal Institute of Hyderabad.
The cabinet would approve removal of CEO of National Fertilizer Corporation while approval of board of directors of National Production organization is also part of agenda.
Cabinet meeting would approve Pakistan Allied Health Professional and Paramedics Council Act. Cabinet would also get briefing on Ehsas Program.
