Chaudhry said the govt has completed first year without any bigger scandal.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday said that the government has completed its first year in power and the good thing is that not a single bigger scandal of the government had emerged during this year.

Speaking exclusively on Dunya News program ‘Nuqta e Nazar’, he said that Kartarpur Corridor is government’s achievement, adding that the second year would be even better.

The minister said that the federal minister Shafqat Mahmood raised the issue of censorship during today’s federal cabinet meeting and Prime Minister Imran Khan said that this is wrong, whoever did this.

We also know the drawbacks of the censorships but no one should be allowed to make personal attacks, he said.

Fawad Ch went on to say that the prime minister expressed displeasure for barring the PML-N from holding rally and registering political cases.

“Imran Khan said we are politicians and the rallies and processions of any political party shouldn’t be stopped,” he said and added the premier’s policy is democracy.

The minister further said that the opposition wishes to get rid of their cases and not reforms, adding that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari spent billions of rupees from the national exchequer on the foreign visits.

He further said that former president Mamnoon Hussain visited foreign countries 85 times.
