Political pressure won't affect accountability: Shahbaz Gill

The PML-N president shouldn't worry as he would soon join Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Jail.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister s Spokesperson Dr Shahbaz Gill on Thursday said while reacting to the press conference Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif said that those talking about welfare of people wanted to shut down country with strikes.

Gill took to the twitter and said that those who were involved in corruption of billions of rupees in the name of Sasti Roti Scheme are today hatching propaganda on the price of Roti.

The spokesperson said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) case, adding that this case was also not made by the incumbent government.

Dr Gill further made it clear that the process of accountability won’t affect with political pressure, adding that instead of making mere statements Shahbaz Sharif should call proclaimed offenders Salman Shahbaz and Ali Imran back to Pakistan.

He said that the entire Sharif family was involved in corruption and commission, however, the they wanted to become victim but they should inform the nation about details of TT-transactions and money laundering.

“The PML-N president shouldn’t worry as he would soon join Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Jail,” the spokesperson said and added fake Aristotle will have to respond in Narowal corruption case.
