Govt generates 51pc increase in revenue under communication ministry

(Web Desk) – Under the communication sector, the government has generated revenue with an increase of 51 percent, according to a report of performance and expenditures of the last 11 months.
The report said the revenue has risen to Rs43 billion.
Until now, Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has recovered Rs7 billion and deposited the amount to the national exchequer.
The report said billions of rupees were also recovered under the anti-encroachment campaign launched by the government.
A new system containing facilities such as e-billing, e-tendering, and mobile app has been introduced to enhance transparency.
The report said different projects of national highways would be completed within three to six months.
