Application seeking homemade food for Rana Sanaullah approved for hearing

The lawyer maintained in the court that Rana Sanaullah is a heart patient.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A session court has accepted an application seeking homemade food for PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah for hearing. The court has asked superintendent camp jail to submit a reply in this regard.

District and Session judge heard a case on the application filed by Rana Sanaullah’s lawyer Farhad Ali Shah. The lawyer maintained in the court that Rana Sanaullah is a heart patient and he can only eat dietary food but camp jail authorities are not cooperating in this regard.

The applicant’s lawyers told the court that law does not allow inhuman behavior with prisoners and not allowing homemade food to PML-N leader is tantamount to inhumane attitude.

He requested the court to allow homemade food for Rana Sanaullah on sympathetic grounds.

The court approving the application for hearing asked superintendent camp jail to submit reply on July 13.

Rana Sanaullah, the president of PML-N’s Punjab chapter and a fierce critic of the ruling PTI government, was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force over his alleged links with drug traffickers in Lahore.

The ANF confirmed that he is accused of having ties with drug traffickers.
