Javed Iqbal said that NAB is receiving more complaints than they did in the past.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said Tuesday that national institutions are helping NAB’s operations to curb the corruption.

According to the details, Javed Iqbal presided over the session where main issues were discussed. He said that NAB’s strategies are excellent to deal with the corrupt elements of the country. “NAB is receiving double amount of corruption complaints as compared to past,” he added.

NAB Chairman expressed that all of the corruption cases are presented to the Board of Executives, attended by high officials, after a thorough review. Solid evidence-based inquiries are further converted into a regular probe, he added.

Javed Iqbal asserted that the parties get fair opportunity to present their justification. He also said that after passing through the confirmation stage of authentic complaints, false complaints get discarded by the NAB.
