Video scandal: Central character Nasir Butt wanted in several cases

More than 14 cases are registered against Nasir Butt in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Many cases are registered against Nasir Butt who is the central character of the secret video shown by PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz on Saturday.

As per details, more than 14 cases are registered against Nasir Butt in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. First case against him was registered at police station Murree due to intervention in governmental affairs on June 9 1982.

A case of murder attempt was registered against him at city police station on January 28 1986. On 23 May 1986 a case of murder and murder attempt was registered against him at Sadiqabad police station.

Record says a case of keeping illegal arsenal was registered against Butt on 4 June 1986 at Ganj Mandi Police station. Police registered another case of rape and attack on police against Nasir Butt at Sadiqabad police station on 15 December 1986. On 2 December 1987 police station Ganj Mandi registered a case of helping a murder happen against him.

On 27 March 1990 police station R A Bazar registered a case of murder attempt against Nasir Butt.

A case of murder attempt was registered against him at police station Waris Khan on May 17 1993 and on 7 October 1993 police station Ganj Mandi registered case of murder attempt against him. On May 20 1994 police station Waris Khan registered a case of attack on police and interference in state affaires against Nasir Butt.
