Cricket team depart for Pakistan after WC elimination.
LONDON (Dunya News) – The national cricket team Saturday departed for Pakistan after being eliminated from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
It has been learnt that skipper Sarfraz Ahmed and Mohammad Hasnain will arrive in Karachi from London. Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Hasan Ali, Asif Ali and Haris Sohail will reach Lahore while Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi and Fakhar Zaman will arrive in Islamabad.
Shoaib Malik, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Hafeez and Mohammad Amir have extended their stay in England.
It is worth mentioning here that Pakistan finished at number five in the ten-team World Cup held in England and Wales, and defeated Bangladesh in their last group match on Friday.
Australia, India, England and New Zealand have qualified for the semi-finals of the mega event.
