LAHORE (Dunya News) – Video statement of arrested Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) alleged member Sakina Naz alias Naz surfaced on Thursday.
She confessed in her statement that the terrorist that escaped from Central Jail three years ago was hiding in Karachi for six months. “Mumtaz alias Firaun was residing in my home for three to four months along with my brother Zainul Abidin alias Zain,” she added.
LeJ alleged member Naz also stated that Firaun was involved in the killing of police officials in District West.
According to police sources, Sheikh Mumtaz fled to Afghanistan after escaping from the prison whereas he returned to Karachi to led his group. Mumtaz’s group was involved in the District West killing, police sources added.
