One lac and ten thousand people have benefitted from the tax declaration scheme: Zaidi

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Shaber Zaidi said one lac and ten thousand people have benefitted from tax declaration scheme while 25000 more are in pipeline to get advantage of the scheme.

Talking to Dunya News, Zaidi said those getting benefit from government’s amnesty scheme would be more than 135000.

He said Rs 70 billion have been collected so far by this scheme. He said last 84000 people got benefit from the scheme while revenue of over Rs 124 billion was collected.
