ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that Balochistan will become a prosperous province once governance, health, and education system are improved for which government is taking vigorous measures.

Talking to participants of National Security Workshop Balochistan in Islamabad on Tuesday, he highlighted the importance of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for Balochistan saying that the project will provide opportunities of job and development to the people of province.

Imran Khan assured that Balochistan s share will be increased in income to be generated from natural resources.

The prime minister informed the participants about various steps taken by the government to take benefits from natural resources and large scale gas reserves in the province. They were informed that share of Balochistan in income from these natural resources would be more than before, as Balochistan remained poor due to the policies of the previous governments.

“The progress of the nations was based on the writ of the law, the superiority of merit and accountable ruler,” he said and added peace in Balochistan was restored due to the unmatched sacrifices of the security institutions.
