Opposition couldn't take stand against worst rigging in election: Maryam Nawaz

Maryam Nawaz said that firm decisions needed to be taken to shake the roots of the government.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday demanded in All Party Conference (APC) to declare all the arrests made by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prison as political arrests.
Addressing in the meeting, she expressed that public have a lot of expectations from the opposition, and if they don’t present a feasible plan then it will create disappointment among them. Firm decisions should be taken in the APC, she added.
PML-N VP asserted that all the arrest made by NAB should be declared political arrests. She also said that a unanimous decision should be taken to change the Senate and deputy chairman. These steps need to be taken to shake the roots of the government which has hurt our democracy, she continued.
She asked that why justice has different measures for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and opposition. “Why are we bowing down to such accountability?” she asked.
