Won't give NRO, no matter who contacts me: PM Imran

PM said it was feared that Turkey’s president Erdogan may support former premier Nawaz.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that someone from Sharif family contacted the head of an Arab state asking relief in corruption scandals but the latter refused to interfere, terming it an internal matter of Pakistan, sources told.
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan gave these remarks while chairing a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) parliamentary party in Islamabad today (Tuesday) where matter pertaining to NRO was also disussed.
PM said he feared that Turkish president Erdogan may speak in support for former premier Nawaz Sharif during meeting with him but no word was exchanged on this issue.
Imran Khan clarified that no NRO would be given to the looters no matter who contacts him.
During the meeting, the premier said that the opposition parties won’t get NRO whether they arrange All Parties Conference (APC) or launch any movement against the government.
Khan further directed all the members to ensure their presence in the Natioanal Assembly session for Budget 2019 approval.
Meanwhile, the members discussed strategy for the approval of budget. They also deliberated on dealing with the anti-government movement launched by opposition parties.
