FM Qureshi meets British counterpart, discusses key issues

FM Qureshi also expressed gratitude towards British FM Hunt for restoring British Airline services in Pakistan.

LONDON (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi today (June 19) met his British counterpart Jeremy Hunt where both discussed regional and global issues including bilateral relations in the meeting.

On this occasion, FM Qureshi expressed that Pakistan respects this two-way relation between both countries. He appreciated the United Kingdom for playing a positive role in reducing Pak-India tension due to Pulwama attack and also for peace talks in the region.

FM Qureshi also expressed gratitude towards British FM Hunt for restoring British Airline services in Pakistan.

Both ministers agreed upon the promotion of bilateral relations related to commercial, cultural, educational, tourism, and security matters between Pakistan and the UK.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi asserted that there are best opportunities for investing in industrial engineering, communication, energy and agriculture sectors of Pakistan whereas British companies can benefit from investing in Pakistan using their positive policies.

Both also talked about high-level delegation and strategic partnership between both countries.
