Polling in 16 KP tribal districts deferred till July 20: ECP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had written a letter to ECP to delay the election.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Polling on sixteen seats of tribal districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly will now be held on July 20 instead of July 2.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) made the announcement regarding change in the polling schedule in a statement today (Wednesday).
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had written a letter to ECP to delay the election in the tribal districts in a wake of security concerns.
