Security deployed for Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr in Lahore

As per DIG operations, special teams have been formed to provide security to important and crowded places of Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore police issued a foolproof security arrangements plan today (June 3) for the occasion of Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr.
Police squad will be specially deployed at markets, shopping centers and recreational places to provide a safe Holy festival.
278 mosques have been added to category A, 432 mosques in category B, while 3423 mosques in category C have been accordingly classified as sensitive places for Eid fest.
As per DIG operations, special teams have been formed to provide security to important and crowded places of Lahore. Police officials will also be deployed in civil uniform to ensure peace and harmony.
DIG operations informed that security plans have been prepared for the Eid congregation on mosques, Eidgahs and Imambargahs. Special security plan has been set for recreational places, parks and graveyards as well.
They also informed that special attention will be given to Holy places. Eid namaz will offered in 4533 mosques across Lahore whereas more than 193 open spaces will also be provided security for namaz.
Security will be on high alert during Eid days.
