NAB claims to investigate corrupts transparently

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The statement issued by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday clarified that the national institute believes in investigating the corrupt elements according to the constitution and the law.

NAB also denied the allegations leveled against NAB chairman Javed Iqbal stating that he has not given any sort of interview to the columnist. It also stated that allegations against NAB chairman about his personality and cases were not based on true facts.

It was mentioned in the released statement that only concerned courts have the right to give a verdict on the references filed by the NAB.

NAB also stated that facts were allegedly manipulated in the honorable courts. Even columnist has acknowledged that Javed Iqbal hasn’t given him any interview. Chairman NAB has been a part to the honorable judiciary over 35 years. He can‘t even think about saying such things about the court, stated NAB.

The NAB statement mentioned that the NAB chairman respects all politicians and believe in ensuring the respect of the politicians according to law. The chairman said NAB strongly believed in respect of people and never disgraced any individual.

On May 19, while talking to media, Javed Iqbal said the bureau would do utmost to improve country‘s image which had been damaged badly by the money launderers, expressing resolve that such elements would not be spared rather punished at every cost.
