The PTI leader said neither he has partnership in any news channel nor he owns shares.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Khan Tareen on Monday said that former defence minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif presented fictitious story in the Lower House of the Parliament.

While reacting to the statement of PML-N leader, he said that there is a complete history of Khawaja Asif’s lies.

Tareen further said that the former defence minister presented fabricated story about him being a partner in the news channel that aired the news report regarding National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal.

Strongly denying Khawaja Asif’s claims, the PTI leader said that neither he has partnership in any news channel nor he owns shares.

He went on to say that Khawaja Asif lied about him and he should take back his statement.

Khawaja Asif accuses govt of blackmailing

Speaking in the National Assembly (NA), the PML-N leader accused the government of devising a plan to blackmail National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal.

He said that PTI leader Jahangir Tareen has shares in the channel which aired news about NAB chief. Attempt to save the skin of own people is deplorable, he added.

The PML-N leader demanded to form parliamentary committee to probe NAB chairman’s matter.
