Pakistan to face Afghanistan in World Cup warm-up match on Friday.
BRISTOL (Dunya News) – Pakistan will face Afghanistan in their first warm-up match on Friday ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019, reported Dunya News.
Fast bowler Wahab Riaz has joined the team in Bristol. Head Coach Mickey Arthur said Pakistan’s batting improved despite losing the series against England. He stressed that special attention is being given to fielding and bowling.
The match will start at 02:30 PM (PST). The Green Shirts will play their second warm-up game against Bangladesh on May 26.
The ICC World Cup 2019 will begin on May 30, and Pakistan will play their first match against West Indies on May 31 in Nottingham.
