Missing German girl recovered from Lahore

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad Police on Sunday recovered a Pakistan origin German girl who had allegedly been abducted from Sector G-6 last week.
Islamabad Police Inspector General (IGP) Aamir Zulfiqar Khan took serious notice of the incident and directed to recover the girl. Subsequently, a squad from the Aabpara police investigated the case and managed to trace the suspected kidnappers by using a combination of technology, digital forensics and other sleuthing.
This led the police to the alleged kidnappers in Lahore where a team of the Islamabad Police nabbed the suspects and recovered the girl.
The police sources said Umaima Khan left her house on 13 May for Lahore to meet her friend Shafique. She was traced through social media applications.
Sources said Umaima and Shafique liked each other and they have married. All record of this case would be submitted in the court.
