NAB to probe Shehbaz Sharif for expensive Dolphin Force motorbikes

As per reports, motorbikes being used by Dolphin Force was bought for Rs1.7 million per unit.

 LAHORE (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to probe Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif over alleged financial irregularities in purchase of expensive Dolphin Force motorbikes. NAB demanded purchase records from Punjab government today (May 20).

Former provincial minister approved the project regarding the import of heavy bikes in 2015. As per reports, motorbikes being used by Dolphin Force was bought for Rs1.7 million per unit out of which 25pc have already stopped functioning due to technical faults.

NAB informed that former Inspector General (IG) Punjab will be inquired alongside Shehbaz Sharif after they get the records. A questionnaire will be sent in the first phase, NAB added.

NAB is alreading investigating Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Ramazan Sugar Mills reference, Saaf Pani Company reference and Ashiana-e-Iqbal housing scheme reference.

Earlier this month, Shehbaz Sharif laughed off the rumors of his escape and said that he will prove his rivals liars by coming back to the country after he is done with rest of his few medical tests.
