People elected PTI for accountability of corrupt elements, says CM Usman Buzdar.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has on Tuesday said that the people voted for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold accountability of the corrupt elements, and to see change.
The chief minister talked to different delegations at the CM House and said Pakistan is a resource-rich country which never got honest leadership after its founder – Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
“Pakistan had been unfortunately looted for 70 years. Each individual would not have been indebted had the previous governments worked with transparency.
“The last ten years witnessed corruption, ransacking and mismanagement. Taxpayers’ money was wasted in the name of projects.
"Pakistan has gotten an honest leadership in the form of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The time to loot the country is over now, and transparency will be promoted everywhere.”
