ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) released former Water and Power Secretary Shahid Rafi today (May 6) on the agreement of returning all the bribe money he confessed about in rental power reference.
NAB undergoing investigation made progress as Shahid Rafi confessed about taking bribe and recorded his statement to the magistrate.

After the confession, the case of former Premier Raja Pervez Ashraf also got worrisome for him.
NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal approved Shahid’s application to be an approver of NAB on May 3 and now he has been released on the consent of returning all the bribe.

He also agreed to testify against former premier Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and son of Azad Kashmir’s former President Babar Zulqarnain in the scandal.
Shahid Rafi said he was ready to provide all the facts and details in his testimony after which the accountability court passed his application to be an approver.
On April 19, Shahid Rafi was detained over conducting illegals deals of rental power costing billion of rupees loss to National exchequer of Pakistan.
