Shahid Afridi suggests PM Imran Khan to stay away from flatterers.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has suggested Prime Minister Imran Khan to stay away from flatterers and listen more to those who point out his mistakes, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
The ace all-rounder expressed his views during the launching ceremony of his autobiography – Game Changer – in Karachi, and termed Imran Khan as Pakistan’s last hope.
Shahid Afridi once again created confusion regarding his age by stating that his date of birth was mistakenly printed 1975 instead of 1977 in the book.
“I was just nineteen, and not sixteen like they claim. I was born in 1975. So yes, the authorities stated my age incorrectly,” he had written in his book.
Shahid Afridi said he respects Waqar Younis very much and affirmed that if he has criticized someone in his book, he has also praised them where it was due.
“I had informed team management about the spot-fixing before the incident occurred,” he added.
Shahid Afridi also bashed Gautam Gambhir and offered him for treatment in Pakistan. Fans in large numbers had gathered on the book launching ceremony.
