LARKANA (Dunya News) – Suspect Dr Muzaffar on Tuesday has been handed over to police on a three-day physical remand for allegedly treating patients with used syringes in Larkana. The suspect, who himself is suffering from the AIDS, denied reporte of health commission and declared the facts presented in it as baseless. In a statement, the suspect said that he is not responsible for the outbreak of the disease in the area as some patients also consulted other doctors. At the time of inspection, DC and medical officers were sitting in my room and not a single used syringe was recovered from my clinic, he added. The doctor said that health commission is taking my name to hide its ineligibility. I am a certificate doctor and know my duties, he said. I suddenly got to know about my health that I am also HIV positive, the doctor stated.
