PFA seizes 40,000 Nimko, 17,775kg adulterated spices

Lahore (Dunya News) – The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has launched a massive 36-hour operation from Lahore to Attock, and confiscated 40,000kg Nimko (spicy lentils and grain flour) and 17,775kg adulterated spices while declaring the items unfit for human consumption.
All the [confiscated] stuff was sent to the concerned department for disposal.
Besides, the authorities sealed seven units for preparing unhygienic cooking oil and other grocery items. Meanwhile, four units were also sealed over uncleanliness.
Authorities vowed to not compromise on the quality of food items and that no one would be allowed to sell the unfit products.
