Nishwa's father to stage protest if demands not met.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The father of Nishwa – who lost her life after being administered wrong injection – has on Friday announced to stage protest if his demands are not fulfilled.
Nishwa’s father held a press conference in Karachi and demanded the government to arrest the owners of the hospital in which his daughter was given the wrong injection, and to seal the clinic.
He declared to raise protest on Sunday if action is not taken against the administration till Saturday evening. The place of the protest has not been finalized yet, he said.
The minor girl’s father requested to keep politics away from this issue and clarified that there is no pressure on him of any political party.
“Representatives of all political parties expressed solidarity with us and shared our grief on the demise of Nishwa,” he added.
He appealed to all those families who became victims of the hospital to submit applications so that a comprehensive action could be taken.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan said the responsible persons behind Nishwa’s death should be punished, but the hospital should not be sealed.
