DHA house robbery: Thieves loot jewelry, cash worth Rs250 million

Police arrived at the crime scene and started collecting evidence.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – An incident of robbery was reported in defence area of provincial capital on Thursday.

According to Dunya News sources, robbery incident happened in 68Y block of defence Lahore where the thieves looted jewelry and cash amounting Rs25 crore.

The sources further said, police arrived at the crime scene and started collecting evidences.

Earlier, it was reported that the administration of Punjab has failed to control crime rate in the province as govt putting more effort in the transfer of IG and other officials.

In two months killing, dacoity and theft incidents have increased by 25 % in the province. Despite the incidents of car and bike thefts along with other street crimes, govt is chanting the slogan of all is well.
