Fake News: ISPR issues notice to local newspaper, demands apology

The army’s media wing warned the newspaper of legal action

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday while issuing notice to a local newspaper for fake news report, demanded an apology and warned of legal action if newspaper failed to tender an apology.

According to Dunya news sources, the ISPR issued notice to a local newspaper Business Recorder for publishing fake news and demanded an apology.

The army’s media wing further warned the newspaper of legal action if it failed to tender an apology.

Sources further said that more fake news were being circulated.

The news report regarding DG ISPR’s meeting with a political personality abroad is also fake and the lies only spread uncertainty.
