Fakhar Zaman celebrates 29th birthday today.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan opening batsman Fakhar Zaman is celebrating his 29th birthday on Wednesday (today), Dunya News reported.

The aggressive left-hander was born on April 10, 1990 in Mardan and made his international debut for Pakistan on June 7, 2017 in the ICC Champions Trophy.

Fakhar Zaman started his one-day international (ODI) career with two consecutive fifties in the Champions Trophy, and led Pakistan to a crushing victory against arch-rival India in the final by scoring a brilliant hundred. He was named player of the match in the final.

The 29-year-old holds the record of the fastest player to 1,000 ODI runs, and is the only Pakistan batsman to score an ODI double-ton.

After giving wonderful performances in ODIs andT20Is, Fakhar Zaman was also selected in the Test squad in 2018.

Cricket enthusiast are expecting good display of batting from Fakhar Zaman in the upcoming 2019 World Cup scheduled in England and Wales from May 30 to July 14.
